The grandson of Shri. DevramBhoir and son of Shri. Sanjay DevramBhoir, coming from a political family Vikeshalways showed interest in social work and helping people around at bad times. His grandfather Shri. DevramBhoir is serving his seventh term as a Corporator at Thane Municipal Corporation, and his Father Shri. Sanjay DevramBhoir is serving his 6th consecutive term as a corporator at Thane Municipal Corporation. His Grandfather and his Father have always been his role models.
Vikesh started gaining interest in organising cultural and sports after he witnessed how such events givewell-deserved attention to all the talented people around us.
His passion for art and culture not only stems from his family but also from his own passion for wildlife photography. He has attended various camps and he makes sure that he takes time to fulfil his passion. He endeavours to capture intimate portraits of animals that convey a sense of awe and wonder. To achieve this, he often prefers to get close to nature and go for wildlife photography.
The idea of ISFTT is a unique platform for upcoming filmmakers around the globe to showcase their films and concepts to discerning audiences and, more importantly, receive constructive and critical feedback from industry experts to help them accelerate their film-making career. As an avid movie lover and an aspiring wildlife photographer, Vikesh knows how a camera can tell you a story when given the right direction and perspective. This made him think of his new concept which combines his learnings from his grandfather and dad as well as his passion of photography. Introducing International Short Film Festival in Thane.
This is a brainchild of Shri. KedarGaekwad an Indian Film Director and Cinematographer and Shri Vikesh Sanjay Bhoir. They jointly developed the concept of the International Short Film Festival Thane (ISFFT). The ISFFT invites all filmmakers and film viewers to experience connecting with like-minded people in a festival scenario and take part in Short Film Competition & and network with various filmmakers from all over the world! The ISFF Thane Film Festival aims to get emerging Indian and International great films but in particular, is seeking work from those filmmakers who might not yet have had the chance for a prestigious public screening of their work. The Festival will further consolidate its position as Thane’s most popular short film festival. ISFFT believes in supporting the work of upcoming storytellers and facilitating the development of film practitioners by providing a platform to showcase their talent, offering learning opportunities and creating a forum for new working relationships can be formed.
